Bio
Adam Torres is a researcher and practitioner at the intersection of Applied Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing, and Cognitive Modeling. As the founder of Applied AI Research Labs (AAIR Labs), his primary research focuses on optimizing human-computer information transfer through intelligent reading interfaces. Adam is the developer and primary investigator behind Dynamic Adaptive Rapid Serial Visual Presentation (daRSVP), an algorithmic NLP framework designed to bridge the gap between high-speed reading and deep cognitive comprehension. By evaluating information-theoretic token surprisal, lexical frequency, and syntactic complexity in real-time, daRSVP dynamically modulates display pacing to reduce working memory load and eliminate the comprehension loss traditional RSVP techniques face. His broader work spans machine learning pipelines, telemetry architecture, and predictive analytics.
